Monty McLaurin has spent the last 35 years of his career in executive leadership positions at hospitals in Alabama, Arkansas, Texas and Tennessee. While at Indian Path, his leadership role has extended to the community to serve on local advisory boards, as a member of the Kingsport Rotary Club, and as chairman of the Kingsport FunFest, Kingsport United Way Campaign and the Greater Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.
Monty earned a Bachelor of Science in Science Education from Louisiana College and a master’s degree in hospital and healthcare administration from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also holds a nursing home administrator’s license, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association.
He and his wife, Debi, are members of First Broad Street United Methodist Church in Kingsport. They have four children scattered throughout the states of Mississippi, Texas and New York City, and one in Johnson City, Tenn.
